DON WALLIS — POET / WRITER

Although his travels have taken him across America and Europe, Don's writing comes out of his life experiences, predominately with the people of California, and his academic studies in Intellectual and Cultural History, World Literature and Theater Arts at the University of California.

Don says, "More and more I'm writing about kind people who are following their hearts to build their dreams—their very lives—with integrity and compassion and trying to share themselves and all they have with everyone else in the world."

Dozens of his one-act plays have been produced locally; and over 60 of his poems have been published in local newspapers and magazines. He continues editing his large body of work, including his novel about Berkeley in the 1960s and the life of an international puppeteer, hopefully for publication.
